If you decide to go up on foot, be prepared for a climb of around 900m, on a safe but not very wide path. Those prone to vertigo are advised to abstain!
The cable car is a much less strenuous alternative, and rest assured that once you arrive at the top station, there's no shortage of hiking opportunities!
Descend to the shores of
Lake Dauben (Daubensee), on foot or with a small cable car, and you can enjoy superb walks along its banks, in an impressive alpine landscape. Beyond the lake, you can even continue on to
Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland!
