This desert island is dependent of Kimolos, near Milos. Its name means ´many goats´, as these are the only inhabitants, with the monk seals who find a shelter in the sea caves along the coast.

With more than 18 sq km, it's the biggest desert island of the Cyclades. It belongs to the Greek orthodox church, who lend its pastures to some herdsmen of Kimolos and Milos.

Some beautiful beaches, mainly along the southwest coast, are accessible by boat.

Some ferries cruise along its amazing coasts, stay on the deck to watch the show!
