Au Lion d'Or (Golden Lion), in Chexbres: choice quality menus and fine wines at the heart of the vineyards of Lavaux, UNESCO World Heritage Area

This app is about one of the nicest restaurants of Chexbres, where you'll find meals and wines at an extraordinary quality / price ratio.

Located in the main street of a village nicknamed the "balcony of Lavaux" for its spectacular views over the vineyards and Lake Geneva, the Café-Restaurant du Lion d'Or is a place you discover with great pleasure and where you can't help returning again and again, either for an aperitif or a good meal.

Very tasty cooking with local market products, excellent wines of the region and of the rest of the world at very affordable prices, warm welcome and home atmosphere: passing the door of the Golden Lion means a great entertainment time!

This app is part of the iSwitzerland Free Apps Series, produced by the cultural and touristic portal fusions.ch and, in addition to the menus and special events of the Lion d'Or, it offers a whole bunch of regional content to help you organize your sojourn in Lavaux!

This actually is a demo app showcasing a model developed for the needs of restaurants.

iSwitzerland models meet 5 requirements:

1. Low budget: apps should not require desperately expensive development costs.
2. Modularity: apps should be expandable, easily and at a reasonable price.
3. Adaptive: apps should be developed keeping in mind that customers don't have much time to post updates.
4. Branding: apps should be highly personalized and should not look like made with some template.
5. Compatibility: iOS apps should be "universal", namely made for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
